  • "Matt has helped me with 2 different injuries now, shoulder subluxation and elbow tendonitis both in the same arm. He got me back to climbing as quickly as I could've hoped, the only way it could have improved quicker is if I came to him sooner. I'll be working with him and I will be back if I injure myself again."

  • No! South Carolina is a direct access state, meaning you can see a physical therapist without a doctor's referral. As first-access providers, we're trained to determine if your condition will improve with physical therapy and can help connect you with the right provider if we're not the best fit. This means you can start treatment faster and avoid unnecessary delays and costs associated with multiple doctor visits before getting the care you need.

  • We're an out-of-network, cash-based practice that provides 60-minute one-on-one sessions with a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist—not assistants or aides. Traditional insurance-based clinics often treat multiple patients simultaneously in shortened sessions and face restrictions on advanced techniques like dry needling and performance-based training. Our model allows us to provide the highest quality care without insurance company limitations dictating your treatment. We're happy to provide a superbill for out-of-network reimbursement from your insurance.

  • Treatment duration varies based on your specific condition, injury severity, and goals. During your comprehensive initial evaluation, we'll provide a clear timeline and treatment plan tailored to your unique situation. Most patients see significant improvement within 4-8 weeks, but our focus is on getting you not just pain-free, but stronger and more resilient to prevent future injuries. Unlike insurance-based clinics that may limit you to a set number of visits, we continue working with you until you achieve your goals.

  • Wear comfortable workout or athletic clothing that allows full shoulder movement and easy access to your shoulder, upper back, and neck. A tank top or loose t-shirt works well. Your session will feel like a workout, so dress accordingly. We want to see how your shoulder moves during functional activities, so the more you can move freely, the better we can assess and treat you.
