Wrist Pain Physical Therapy in Greenville, SC

Take Back Your Grip

Wrist pain has a root cause, and gritting through it rarely makes it better. We look past the sore spot to find what's actually driving it, then build a 1-on-1 plan that gets you back to gripping the bar, loading a push-up, and typing through the day without bracing for the next flare.

What Lingering Wrist Pain Is Quietly Costing You

Every Heavy Grip Brings It Back

You back off, it settles, then the first heavy pull or push-up lights it right back up. With the cause unaddressed, you stay stuck managing flare-ups instead of putting them behind you.

You're Lifting Around the Pain

You drop the front rack, skip push-ups, reach for straps, and avoid the lifts that bite. Working around your wrist instead of trusting it stalls progress, and the worry about making it worse never lets up.

Nothing You've Tried Has Stuck

A wrist brace, rest, stretches, and a foam roller for the forearms — you've worked the list. None of it holds because it chases the soreness, not the mobility, strength, or control problem underneath it.

Common Conditions We Treat

What Brings People In for Wrist Pain

People come to us when wrist or hand pain keeps interrupting training, lifting, or typing through the workday, and they want to understand the why, not just another brace to wear.

Wrist Pain & Tendinopathy - Aching or sharp wrist pain that flares with gripping, loading, or weight-bearing through the hand and lingers after you train.

Carpal Tunnel Symptoms - Numbness, tingling, or night-time hand symptoms often linked to carpal tunnel; we assess what may be irritating the nerve and build a plan around it.

Hand & Finger Pain - Pain, stiffness, or grip weakness through the hand and fingers that makes loading, carrying, and fine tasks frustrating.

Tennis & Golfer's Elbow - Forearm and inner- or outer-elbow pain that runs down into the wrist and flares with gripping, lifting, or repetitive swinging.

Wrist Tendinitis & Overuse - Repetitive-strain and training-load wrist pain that creeps in as volume climbs and keeps returning despite backing off.

Wrist Arthritis - Joint stiffness and ache that limits gripping and weight-bearing; we help you manage it so you can keep training and moving.

Post-Surgical & Post-Injury Wrist - Structured rehab after a wrist fracture, surgery, or injury to rebuild motion, grip, and confidence loading the hand again.

Desk & Repetitive-Strain Pain - Wrist and forearm pain from long hours at a keyboard or repetitive work that flares when you also train and lift.

Frequently Asked Questions

Questions about wrist pain PT in Greenville? Here's what we hear most.

Do I need a referral or imaging first?

No. South Carolina is a direct access state, so you can start without a physician referral or imaging in hand. We're trained as first-access providers. We'll assess your wrist directly, begin a plan that day, and if imaging or a specialist referral is ever warranted, we'll point you there.

Do you take insurance?

We're cash-based and out-of-network, so we don't bill insurance directly. We provide superbills you can submit for potential out-of-network reimbursement, and we accept HSA and FSA. In exchange you get unhurried, fully 1-on-1 care with no insurance limits on your sessions.

Can I keep training while my wrist recovers?

In most cases, yes. The goal is to keep you moving as much as your wrist can handle while we resolve the root cause. We'll modify your gripping, pressing, and pulling around your current capacity and build it back as things improve. Complete rest is rarely the answer.

What's actually causing my wrist pain?

That's exactly what the evaluation answers. Wrist pain can come from the tendons, how your forearm and grip load, limited mobility, an irritated nerve, or how you press and pull in training. We assess all of it, then build the plan around what we actually find, not a guess.

How is this different from PT I've tried before?

Traditional PT often means shared sessions and a focus on calming symptoms. Here, every visit is fully 1-on-1 with your physical therapist, starting with a comprehensive root-cause evaluation and an individualized plan, guided by a residency-trained, board-certified specialist who trains the way you do.
