Orthopedic Physical Therapy in Greenville, SC

Find the Root Cause. Come Back Stronger.

Orthopedic pain should be met with precision care — not guesswork and not one-size-fits-all rehab. Your physical therapist takes time to understand your injury, your goals, and what brought you here. Then you build a plan that actually works for your body.

What Happens When You Just Push Through It

The injury keeps coming back

Rest and stretching quiet things temporarily — but without identifying the root cause, the same problem flares up again the next training cycle.

You keep losing training time

Every setback chips away at your fitness, your race prep, and your confidence. Missing weeks turns into missing months without a real answer.

You're afraid to push at full effort

Constantly guarding an old injury changes how you move and train. You can't perform the way you know you're capable of — and that matters.

Common Conditions We Treat

What Brings People to Us

Active adults and athletes come to us when pain is keeping them off the trail, out of the gym, or away from the sport that defines who they are.

Knee Pain - Runner's knee, IT band syndrome, meniscus issues, and recurring knee problems that keep flaring during training.

Lower Back Pain - Persistent or recurring back pain that flares with running, lifting, or everyday activity.

Hip Pain - Hip impingement, labral symptoms, and hip tightness limiting stride, squat depth, or cycling comfort.

Achilles & Ankle - Achilles tendinopathy, plantar fasciitis, ankle sprains, and related overuse issues that resist rest alone.

Shoulder Pain - Rotator cuff pain, shoulder impingement, and overhead mobility issues affecting training and sport.

Post-Surgical Rehab - Return-to-sport programming after ACL, rotator cuff, or other orthopedic procedures.

Neck & Upper Back Pain - Neck and upper back tension from training posture or work demands contributing to head and neck symptoms.

Overuse Injuries - Recurring stress from endurance or strength training that hasn't resolved with rest or previous PT.

Frequently Asked Questions

Considering orthopedic PT in Greenville? Here's what most active adults want to know first.

Will this work if previous PT didn't help?

Often, yes. The most common reason PT doesn’t resolve a problem is that it targets the symptom instead of what’s actually driving it. We start with a detailed evaluation of how you move, handle load, and how your symptoms respond to find what previous approaches may have missed. You'll understand exactly what the plan is targeting and why, so you're not repeating the same process and expecting a different result.

Do I need a referral to come in?

No. South Carolina is a direct access state, which means you can start PT without a physician referral. We're trained as first-access providers and can evaluate, assess your movement, and start treatment from your very first visit.

How does the cash-pay model work?

You pay directly per session, with no insurance involvement. Rates are transparent upfront. If you have out-of-network benefits, we can provide a superbill for you to submit for potential reimbursement, though we can't guarantee what your specific plan will cover. HSA and FSA cards are accepted.

What does the first visit look like?

Your first visit is a full root-cause evaluation. We take a detailed history, assess your movement patterns, and identify what's actually driving your pain or limitation. You'll leave with a clear picture of what's going on and an individualized plan to address it. In most cases, treatment begins in that first session. Come dressed for movement.

How many sessions will I need?

It depends on your injury and your goals. After your evaluation, we’ll give you a clear plan and a realistic expectation for your timeline. Some injuries may require more frequent visits early on, while others may not. As you progress, we’ll adjust your plan to keep you moving forward efficiently, not keep you on a recurring schedule longer than necessary.
